Explanation for series on the first one: "Boardwalk" (below) :)

Taken in Yellowstone, Wyoming with a Neutral Density (ND) filter held over a polarizer. The smoke is a result of a natural geothermal feature. Edited only for slight contrast and sharpening.

I like the contrast of geometric shapes against the natural feeling fog/mist. How does a ND filter and polarizer affect the image? Just curious.
